Coming soon: 5pna and community social talk (like a party line).....rules of engagement forthcoming. please let all seniors and homebound individuals you know that this is coming. Those who don't socialize much and those who feel lonely. If you are open and want to be on the line....leave some best days and times. We will come back to this within the next few weeks. Remember this is respectable and confidential conversations and language is asked to be clean and individuals to not take comments out of context or personal. Further rules of engagement forthcoming.

Many thanks for the July 2017-May 2018 and much more to come

Good morning, we would like to thank all members, residents, partners, collaborations, sponsors:CHWC, CCHD, Thrivent, Lisa Penny Ink, GMF, HR Block, UWM service learnings, MSOE,Bucks, Brewers, and consultants for our projects, Westside MBC/Ministries, and Grace Fellowship as well as organizers for the area and other fundraising efforts to help us reach goals so for for the year. If we missed anyone, we will make sure to mention all efforts as we review the past year. .April has been very productive and busy. We are truly proud that the clean up yielded more than 50 participants and 50-60 trash bags. Keep up the efforts. We are looking to the great plans for June which are many watch the facebook page, blogs, and nextdoor.com.
 WE are looking forward to all collaboration from this day forward, please email us at 5pnamil@gmail.com we will direct your call to the appropriate department chair. Also, we are looking for donations of good wood (inside and out), paint, mortar mix, all types of good quality and usable products and other materials to help our seniors 65-90 hitting the 80-90 years first, disabled individuals and vets.. Please notify us as we would like to collect at the garden park on June 2, 2018 starting at 9am: this is for those who need generai aid in getting home improvements who have already signed up for June 11-14 assistance with CHWC.

1.       Pick up your doorbells you ordered at the end of the meeting.
2.       List or bring items that you can give others for home improvements: for example, a white gallon of paint,wood, etc, as CHWC is providing labor only.
3.       Plan June Activities
4.       Review Garden and Orchard Days and Times and volunteers..
5.       Plan July Activities—volunteer to lead activities
6.       Enter some call for action during the meeting
7.       Remember the neighborhood rules and guidelines
8.       Pick representatives to crime and safety meetings
*Lights on dark until dawn
*Noise free zone after 8pm
*Report suspicious activity
*Keep your area Clean.
*Bring concerns and plans to the meeting.
*Bring at least two neighbors and two youth 5-20 with you to the meeting for planning purposes.

5pna May 2018 activities (additional activities forthcoming)

Please pay attention to the following May activities and agenda:
May 5th, 2018 at 9am gardening, decluttr (bring dvd's cd's video games and books) we will plant , transfer a few beds and plant, and clean the garden address 3754 n. port washington. please email back and list what items you are bringing to help with gardening: ie, gloves, tilling , rakes, etc...garbage bags, children are welcomed. starting at 9am please arrive on time.
May 5th, 2018 Jabril will lead Janes Walk- a way to get to know your neighbors.....please email right away if you are also participating in the walk. Jabril may want to speak with you ahead of time and verify the meeting time and instructions.
Mondays in May from 7-8:30pm cardio line exercise dance and wellness- 2201 N. 35th street, enter the doors across from Family Dollar by the windows with the sign. You will be asked to sign the participation waiver and medication authorization forms as precautions. These classes meet every Monday and your information is necessary in case a class is rescheduled. Instructor: Dylisa Turner. Site Westside MBC...5pna participation waivers on site.
Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at 2pm and 6pm conference call for planning and scheduling of activities. Please note we will also seek services for hire. Saturday May 12, 2018.....working at the garden orchard.....9am start end at 11am please arrive on time...
May 15-17. 2018 attendees to the center for community progress conference....you will be asked to give a report so that we can generate plans at the May 26th meeting.
Saturday May 19th, 2018 Garden Day, great clean up and decluttr 9- Noon  meet at 3879 N. Port Washington ave, Grace Fellowship at 9 and split in groups then party 12-4 at clinton rose center...sponsored by Helen Bader Foundation.
Saturday May 26th, 2018 community meeting, please be on time as we will discuss the updates for home repairs and other networking...your input and items that you are able to donate to help others is asked. WE will also discuss and put in place our next months programs. We will also ask those who are on crime and safety about any and all updates and what plans have resulted.
Please pay attention as conference calls are going to occur between committees and groups. This year we are planning to move forward with greater actions and events. You will receive additional information as groups plan. If you are one of the collaborators and youth/adult activities, please be on the conference call so that we can arrange some of the activities for the park.
Also we ask that grant writing team to be prepared as we have two grants to finish by the 16th of May, your attention and details are necessary and needed immediately. Also a huge major event is being planned for August if you would like to participate in the planing, you are asked to email and we will call you back.
