Please note the following regarding our MLK Day of service.  Sign up to attend at eventbrite.com "art on a jar."  Registration closes in 45 minutes. 

Please note that we will start on time and that we have supplies and would need an accurate count.  Also, we will follow covid protocols.  These jars are designated for those upon whose shoulder we stand.

Got empty glass jars? Turn them into art to gift to senior citizens, veterans and people with disabilities. The 5 Points Neighborhood Association along with other community partners aim to complete 3000 art glass jars to donate to those individuals who may feel forgotten. As part of King Day celebrations, the group invites residents to bring cleaned glass jars with lids and labels removed to be painted and decorated and filled with inspirational messages for their “Art on Jars” event on Mon. Jan. 16, from noon – 3 p.m. at 3879 N Port Washington Ave.. Sizes of the jars can vary. Covid -19 protocols will be followed.
